Driving innovation for the multiple myeloma community
Driving innovation for the multiple myeloma community
Target the Future is a global initiative dedicated to advancing innovation and addressing key needs in the multiple myeloma community. The programme provides education on progress in the field of multiple myeloma, identifies key challenges the community faces, and facilitates solutions to create a better future for patients, their caregivers and loved ones.
The Target the Future Think Tank Challenge issues a call for entries for ideas to create a better future for the multiple myeloma community. Funding of £85,000 (approximately $100,000) is awarded to the strongest proposal to help bring the idea to life.
2023 Target the Future Think Tank Challenge Grantee
Congratulations to the grantee of the Target the Future Think Tank Challenge - Cancer Support Community's Multiple Myeloma Digital Engagement Program!
- The programme focuses on empowering historically underserved and under-resourced multiple myeloma patients and their providers to ensure they are benefitting from the best possible care.
- The platform was designed to make easily available to patients and their loved ones vital resources and help bridge the digital health divide for those impacted people who don't have internet access.
The platform is currently customised to five pilot locations, including: San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Twin Cities, Arizona and Breckinridge County, Kentucky. The app, which provides a range of tools and resources in one platform, includes access to telehealth services, direct communication with a patient's care team, myeloma education, mental wellness resources, and more.
